Gold Gallery Procedure
This procedure describes how to place a "Gold" photo into the Gallery. This is a photo that has been awarded a "Gold" designation during the judging on Honors Night. You will require a login and password to access the website gallery. This will be assigned to you after you have paid your dues and joined the club.
- Your photo should be sized for web no larger than 800x600 in sRGB color space, but 640x480 is optimum
- Log into the website as normal
- Navigate to the Gallery link and click on it
- Click on the Member Golds link
- Locate your album [If this is your first "Gold" it will probably be on the last page (2)]
- You will see an "Album actions" pull-down in the window above your album name
- Click on the drop down arrow and choose "Edit Album"
- Click on Add items in the left hand menu
- This will bring up the options for uploading your already properly sized photos as mentioned in the first step
- You will most likely be online when you are doing this so stay with the default From Web browser tab at the top of the screen
- In the blank space where it says File there is a Browse button to the right
- Click on the Browse button and point to the folder and file you wish to upload using the drop down menu at the top of the window that appears
- Click on the file in the folder and choose Open (You did place it where you could find it, right?)
- This will place the file you want to upload in the File window
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose Add Items
- It will display a message that your file has been added
- If you click on the file name it will bring your photo up
- If you click on Edit, located in the lower left under the photo, it will take you to a screen that allows you to name it and add other pertinent details
- Congratulations! You have placed your "Gold" photo on our website in your own album
- One important thing to remember...Save after you make a change or it will not stick. The Save button is usually located on the bottom of most pages.
