General Club Info
The Bay Area Photo Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of amateur and professional photographers in the Houston/Galveston Bay Area. The BAPC is a great place:
- to learn about photography from fellow members
- to learn about upcoming photography events (exhibitions, field trips, workshops)
- to display and have your work critiqued
- to get and share good sources of photography-related information
The club meets three times a month (except December) at The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake (TAACCL) located at 2000 Nasa Pkwy. The first Tuesday of the month is an educational/tutorial session. On the second Tuesday of the month, members bring their work for critique and discussion (also referred as the Honors Program night). The fourth Tuesday of the month is usually a special program where guests come to speak to the club on various topics, a member presents a special topic of interest or the club critiques work from an outside organization such as PSA or GSCCC-member clubs. There is also a monthly newsletter that lists announcements, essays on subjects of photographic interest, buy/sell ads, and other goodies.
- When?: 7:00PM on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month (except no 4th Tuesday meeting in December)
