March 24

Please join us Tuesday, March 24 for our monthly Program Night titled 'Seeing Red'.  There will be snacks and soft drinks provided.  The meeting is held at TAACCL and opens at 7:00pm.

The program will feature a presentation on digital infrared photography, presented by members Peter Janecke and Brooks Walker.  Peter and Brooks have both been involved in infrared photography for several years; first with film and now with digital cameras that have been modified to be sensitive in the near infrared spectrum.

They plan to start by sharing some examples of their infrared photography, and explaining why they are attracted to this medium.  They will then explain what infrared photography is and how a digital camera can be modified to shoot in the infrared, as well as discuss some of the idiosyncrasies of shooting in infrared.

Finally, they will demonstrate their individual techniques of processing their images in Photoshop.  Here are the latest "Gold" photos for Brooks taken in infrared.
